You might want to consider this 3-day Singapore tour itinerary:
DAY 1 - UNIVERSAL STUDIOS SINGAPORE
Start the day early at Universal Studios Singapore (opens at 10am).
Leave enough time in the late afternoon/evening for shopping at Resorts World Sentosa or Vivo City Mall (across the water on 'mainland' Singapore).
DAY 2 - SENTOSA ISLAND
Spend the day on Sentosa Island, including visits to the Merlion and Songs of the Sea.
DAY 3 - SHOPPING & SINGAPORE NIGHT SAFARI
Morning - Late Afternoon:
Take the MRT to Orchard MRT Station. Shop at
a) ION Orchard - Trendy and/or branded stuff
b) Tanglin Shopping Chentre - Antiques and art
c) Far East Plaza - Affordable clothes and accessories
Late afternoon:
Take the MRT to Ang Mo Kio Station. Shop at Ang Mo Kio Hub and shopping in the surrounding plazas.
Evening:
Dinner at Ang Mo Kio Hub (restaurants or food court)
Bus No. 138 to Singapore Night Safari.
Return to hotel by taxi or bus + MRT.
