3 Full Days' Singapore Vacation

by Gee Maroon
(Philippines)

Hello! My family and I will be on vacation from Nov 27, 2010 arriving at 23:55H and departure is on Dec. 1, 2010 at 10:35H.

This is our first visit to Singapore and we wanted to see the best this city has to offer. I am travelling with my husband 46yrs old, myself 45yrs and 3 kids ages 17, 14 and 5.

Our budget is very limited but I have lined up the following activities for the family:

Day 1 (Nov 28, Sun)
Attend Mass at Novena Place, Merlion Park, Clarke Quay, Orchard Road

Day 2 (Nov 29, Mon)
Go to Universal Studios, Sentosa Island and Night Safari

Day 3 (Nov 30, Tues)
Go to Snow City and other tourist attractions

Day 4 (Dec 1, Wed)
Leave for home.

Please help us and indicate how do we go about travelling to these destinations, since we have 3 kids with us. And also is there a taxi that will accomodate the 5 of us from the airport to our hotel which is near Orchard Road?

Thank you so much and we hope to hear from you.

Hi Gee

You may want to make a few minor adjustments to your Singapore vacation itinerary. Here are some suggestions to cut down on commuting:

Day 1 - Orchard Road, Merlion Park & Clarke Quay
Attend Mass at Novena Place, followed by shopping at Orchard Road in the late morning/afternoon.

(Novena is 2 MRT stops from Orchard Road.)

In the evening, visit Merlion Park and Clarke Quay.

Day 2 - Universal Studios & Sentosa Attractions

You'll find time passing by very quickly. So you'll have time only for USS an maybe one or two other Sentosa attractions.

Day 3 - Science Centre, Snow City & Night Safari

The Science Centre and OmniTheatre are just next to Snow City, so you might as well make your trip worthwhile by checking these out as well.

That will leave you plenty of time to get to the Singapore Night Safari - best to use the taxi.

Enjoy your Singapore vacation.
