3 Day Singapore Tour Plan for First Time Visitors

by Prasadani
(Sri Lanka)

We will be visiting Singapore on July 5th 2115 & leaving July 9th 0055 with my husband and 1.5 year old son.

Please help me to plan my tour.

Can I visit Malaysia for 1 day?

Hi Prasadani

Here's a suggested Singapore tour itinerary:

DAY 1: SHOPPING + SINGAPORE ZOO + NIGHT SAFARI

Morning: Shop around your hotel in the morning. Then go back to your hotel to rest a while and to freshen up. This will perk you up for the rest of the day - and night - out at the animal parks.

Afternoon: Singapore Zoo

Evening: Singapore Night Safari

Note:
The Zoo and Night Safari are just next to each other.

DAY 2: SENTOSA ISLAND

Spend the day at Sentosa Island.

DAY 3: SINGAPORE CITY CENTRE

In the morning, take a taxi to Suntec City Galleria, approach the Duck Tours booth and buy a Duck Tour + Singapore Flyer combo ticket (some discount with combo ticket).

Embark on the Duck Tour. Upon your return, take a short walk to ride the Singapore Flyer nearby.

This will lead nicely to shopping at the Marina Bay malls: Millenia Walk, Suntec City, Marina Square, and Raffles City. You'll find lots of shops catering to adults and toddlers here.

In the evening, take a little walk to the Singapore River - embark on a Singapore River Cruise, sight-see or simply chill out at one of the nice restaurants there.

Notes:

1) Get a free city map from the Visitors' Centre when you arrive at the airport. It'll help you navigate your way around Day 3's sights.

2) There are lots of restaurants, eateries and food courts in the Marina Bay area, so meals shouldn't be a problem. You may need to take your own hot water flask along, should you need it for your child.

Have a good holiday in Singapore.

Specific Details Needed.
Limited Time - Just Singapore Will Do.

by: Gabriel Tan

Hi Prasadani

1. Given the limited time you have, it's better to just sight-see Singapore. Visiting Malaysia means you'll lose a large proportion of your time commuting and clearing immigration checks.

2. Before I suggest an itinerary, do you have places you already want to visit? If you provide more specific details about your travel preference, I could suggest more pertinent activities for you.

Adjust Your Singapore Tour Plan Accordingly
by: Gabriel Tan

Hi Prasadani

I've just created the suggested itinerary as per your request (see above).

In view of your travelling with a 1.5 year old child, I've omitted the Bird Park and the National Orchid Garden to cut down on the large amount of travelling these places would have involved.

Let me know if you have further questions.
