We need your help with the itinerary with details of transport to run around places since it's our first time in Singapore.
We want to visit the following spots:
1. Singapore Zoo/Night Safari
2. Sentosa Island/Songs of the Sea
3. Merlion Park
4. Singapore Flyer
5. Singapore Science Centre and Snow City
6. Clarke Quay
7. Jurong Bird Park
8. Singapore National Museum
9. Orchid Garden
Can we possibly cover all those places we want to visit?
We have a one day ticket pass at the Universal Studios on the 12th of June.
Please help me in making a Singapore tour itinerary since our trip is already next week. Your great help will be highly appreciated. Thanks!
Here's a suggested Singapore tour itinerary, crafted to minimise movement and commuting time:DAY 1 - NATIONAL MUSEUM, NATIONAL ORCHID GARDEN & ORCHARD ROAD SHOPPING
After checking into your hotel (or at least leaving your luggage there), proceed next door to the National Museum of Singapore
. Allow at least 2 hours here to enjoy the exhibits.
Thereafter, take a taxi to the National Orchid Garden
, which is located within the Botanic Gardens
In the late afternoon / early evening, take a taxi or public bus to Orchard Road
, near the junction with Scotts Road. Here, your shopping options are quite good:
a) Top brand boutiques at ION Orchard
b) Artsy collectibles at Tanglin Shopping Centre
c) Duty free shopping at DFS Galleria (Scotts Road)
d) Affordable, trendy clothes and such at Far East Plaza
e) Tangs, Wisma Atria, Ngee Ann City, etc
Dinner could be an indulgent hotel buffet
, a simple meal at Far East Plaza (@ upper floors) or anything in between.DAY 2 - SINGAPORE FLYER, ZOO & NIGHT SAFARI
Start the day with a leisurely ride on the Singapore Flyer
. Then catch lunch somewhere near the Marina Bay area, before taking a taxi to the Singapore Zoo
About 6pm, hop over next door to the Singapore Night Safari
Dinner could be at Bongo Burgers or Ulu Ulu Restaurant at the Night Safari. If you want to save some money, consider packing your own food rather than eating at the Zoo or Night Safari.DAY 3 - JURONG BIRD PARK, SINGAPORE SCIENCE CENTRE & SNOW CITY
Day 3's attractions may be enjoyed on this Singapore Tour to Jurong Attractions
I'm afraid you'd need to forgo some of your intended activities - remember that less is more!ESSENTIAL TIPS
1) Get hold of a free Singapore map from the Visitors' Centre when you arrive at the airport. This is absolutely necessary for you to find your way around the places described in this Singapore tour itinerary.
2) Buy the 3-in-1 Park Hopper ticket when you arrive at the Zoo. This will get you some discount off the total ticket price for the Zoo, Night Safari and Bird Park.
Have an enjoyable Singapore tour.
