14 Days' Tour to Singapore and Malaysia

| Myself, my wife and our 2 year old daughter are planning our tour to Singapore and Malaysia for 14 days, this coming November. Please help us with budget planning for this tour. SINGAPORE AND MALAYSIA VISA REQUIREMENTS
Indian passport holders will need visas to enter both Singapore and Malaysia.
As visa requirements change constantly, I suggest that you contact the official immigration departments of both countries for the finer details of getting your visas.

The Malaysia Immigration Department also has a webpage with information about Malaysia visa requirements.
Important:
1) If you are arriving and departing from the same airport, you'll be entering either Singapore or Malaysia multiple times (twice). If this is the case, ensure that your visa allows you to enter the country multiple times.
2) Malaysia, I believe, allows some passport holders to enter through the airports only. So be sure to pay attention to this requirement if you plan on taking a bus from Singapore to Malaysia.
SUGGESTED ITINERARY FOR 14-DAY SINGAPORE MALAYSIA TOUR
Assuming that
a) you have all your visa requirements met, and
b) you'd like variety for your vacation,
here's a general itinerary for enjoying 14 days in Singapore and Malaysia:
1) 4 days in Singapore
2) 5 days in Langkawi Island & Penang
3) 3 days in Cameron Highlands
3) 2 days in Kuala Lumpur
This itinerary assumes that you are arriving at Singapore Airport and departing from Kuala Lumpur airport.
If you plan on arriving and departing from the same airport, let me know which one and provide further details.
