- Taxi to Singapore Botanic Gardens. Ask the driver to take you to the Cluny Road entrance (Visitors' Centre).
- Arrive at Singapore Botanic Gardens. Grab hold of a map of the Gardens.
- Take a leisurely walk around the Central Core - visiting the Evolution Garden, Ginger Garden and finally the National Orchid Garden.
- The National Orchid Garden opens at 8.30am.

- Take the pedestrian bridge from Suntec City Convention Centre to One Raffles Link. There, descend to the underground Citylink Mall, which links to Raffles City Shopping Centre.

- Journey from Raffles City to Singapore Night Safari.
- By MRT + Bus:
- Leave by 5.30pm. Allow 1.5 hours travel time.
- MRT from City Hall Station to Ang Mo Kio Station.
Then Bus No. 138 from Ang Mo Kio Bus Interchange to Singapore Night Safari.
- By Taxi:
- Join the taxi queue at Raffles City Shopping City.
- Leave by 6pm. Allow 45 minutes travel time.

Tips for This Singapore Tour
For Senior Citizens
- It is possible to do less walking on this Singapore tour:
- Upon arrival at the Botanic Gardens, go straight to the National Orchid Garden and ignore the rest. The National Orchid Garden is probably the most interesting feature of the Gardens.
- At the Night Safari, take the tram round the park (additional cost). Get down at the East Lodge to see the animal exhibits there, which are easily reached by walking.
- Upon arrival at the Botanic Gardens, go straight to the National Orchid Garden and ignore the rest. The National Orchid Garden is probably the most interesting feature of the Gardens.
For Families with Young Children
- Is there a better way to occupy your children at the Botanic Gardens? Yes, take them to the Jacob Ballas Children's Garden. There are lots of play areas. The kids will have a blast.
To reach Jacob Ballas, enter the Gardens from Bukit Timah Road. Tell the taxi driver to turn on Kheam Hock Road, up the NUS Bukit Timah Campus. Jacob Ballas is right up there.
